Armenian Cucumber

HEIRLOOM. Cucumis melo var. flexuosus. A type of long, slender fruit which tastes like a cucumber with light green, bumpless skin.  It has no bitterness and the fruit is almost always used without peeling. It is also known as the yard long cucumber, snake cucumber, snake melon. Aremenian Cucumbers grow approximately 30 to 36 inches long. It grows well on the ground or on a trellis. Aremenian Cucumbers are best picked when they are 12 to 15 inches as they are most flavorful at this size.

Use in salads, on sandwiches and in stir fries.
